2019 Teacher Conference

OUR 2018 TEACHER CONFERENCE was held in SAN FRANCISCO on FEBRUARY 24-26, 2018.
From an inspiring keynote address to interactive sessions, this conference offered ideas and strategies to take back to the classroom and use right away. The experience was held over two days and led by CPM authors, teachers, administrators, teacher-leaders, and others who shared their experience and expertise, providing insights into best practices in teaching mathematics.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Dr. Timothy D. Kanold
Dr. Timothy D. Kanold, a mathematics educator and textbook author, holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and a master’s degree in Mathematics and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Counseling Psychology. He served as Superintendent and Director of Mathematics and Science for 17 years at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
Dr. Kanold is co-author of 27 mathematics textbooks grades 6-12. He has presented nationally and internationally over the past decade, with the primary focus on the creation of equitable learning experiences for all children in mathematics.
