CPM Research Coordinator

DESCRIPTION: The Research Coordinator serves as the liaison among researchers, CPM, and the broader educational community including CPM schools and districts. The Research Coordinator designs and coordinates implementation of qualitative and quantitative studies (large and small) that address research questions generated by CPM to address the needs of CPM, designs and coordinates the preparation of reports on quantitative measures available from schools using CPM materials is directly responsible for oversight and management of pre- and post-award activities for external research awards funded by CPM.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education and/or Experience:
Ph.D. in Mathematics Education or equivalent degree in a related field. Experience in mathematics teaching in grades 6-12, professional development, and research is desirable. Familiarity with and support of CPM curriculum, philosophy, and professional development, school and district organizational structures and with Human Subjects and IRB requirements.
Experience with:
a. Design and implementation of mathematics education research projects and reports.
b. Design effective workflow management policies.
c. Demonstrated proficiency with electronic and printed reference materials.

FULL-TIME/PART-TIME: Full-Time
