CPM's Origin Story
It Started With 30 Teachers and a Big Idea.
In 1989, a group of Sacramento math teachers walked into a room with a shared conviction: that algebra should open doors, not close them. What they built together, with two Eisenhower grants, five weeks, and a borrowed van, became one of the most widely used math curricula in California.
